Field Technician — Mobile Networks

Athens · travel across Greece · Full time

Installation and upgrade of microwave links and 5G base stations.

  • Responsibilities
  • Install and upgrade of microwave links
  • Install and upgrade 5G and LTE radio equipment on base station sites
  • Acceptance testing and site documentation
  • Requirements
  • Technical qualification in electronics, electrical engineering or telecommunications
  • Able to work at height
  • Category B driving licence
  • Availability to travel across Greece
  • Basic English for equipment documentation
  • Desirable
  • Experience on mobile network sites — microwave links, base stations, antenna
  • Working-at-height certification
  • Commissioning and troubleshooting experience

Technicians

Site supervisors

Running a crew on site, against the method statement, the schedule and the safety plan.

Project engineers

Surveys, implementation drawings, measurements and the technical record of the site.

Network designers

Radio and network design, link planning, bills of quantities.

Project managers

Programme planning, resourcing, reporting and the operator interface.
